Palliative and hospice sessions Reiki for people at end of life and their families is offered as a gentle, caring presence alongside, never instead of, medical, nursing and palliative care. With your permission, I'll work with and respect the guidance of your care team or facility, and I'll only attend where the facility and the person (or their authorised decision-maker) agree. Distance sessions Distance Reiki is offered remotely at an agreed time. It is based on the Reiki tradition's view that energy isn't limited by distance. Distance sessions aren't a substitute for medical care or for seeing a health professional in person when you need to. Consent, and clients under 18 Before your first session I'll explain what's involved and ask for your consent. You're welcome to ask questions, ask me to change anything (for example hands-off rather than light touch), or stop a session at any time. Clients under 18 need the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, and a parent or guardian must be present for in-person sessions. For distance sessions with a minor, the parent or guardian books and consents on the young person's behalf. Information on this website The content on this website is general information only.
